Biography
I paint because there are moments in life that words cannot hold.
Born in 1990 in Kashmir,
Muntehaa Azad
As a Pakistani artist, I draw much of my inspiration from the world around me: the warmth of our landscapes, the character of our streets, the quiet beauty of ordinary places, and the emotions that live beneath everyday moments. Through oil, watercolor, acrylic, and other mediums, I explore light, colour, texture, and atmosphere, always searching for a feeling rather than simply reproducing what I see.
For me, every blank canvas is an invitation to discover something new. Sometimes it begins with a landscape, sometimes a face, a memory, or simply the way light falls across a familiar place. I allow the painting to evolve naturally, layer by layer, until it begins to tell its own story.
My work is a continuous conversation between observation and imagination. I paint what I see, but more importantly, I paint what I feel.
